Cassandra Monique Batie, professionally called Andra day, is an American R&B singer-songwriter. The singer has received various accolades like an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Days is an impressive performer who writes beautifully. She is not only a specialist in throwback R&B Her musical origins are in blues and gospel jazz. Her debut single Cheers to Autumn (2015) has topped the hiphop/R&B charts. Her contributions in Marshall (2017) have earned the singer an award including a Grammy Award as well as an Academy Award. She started out in television and appeared on shows such as Orange Is the New Black and Blue Bloods. After that, she began her film debut by appearing in Halloween as well as its sequels as Allyson.
